- Yesterday I was listening to my favorite Johnny Cash song - "Daddy Sang Bass" and I realized something. If Daddy really did sing bass, and Momma really sang tenor, I'd have a hard time joining in because I'm a first soprano. Maybe that shows my lack of choral experience since high school but I just don't think I could do it.
- One of my goals for the duration of the school year while I room with my friend Amanda is to get her on Twitter. She sees no point, but I keep trying to tell her how great it is. One day she will join me on the Twitter machine, as my dad and I like to call it.
- Speaking of my dad, I can't wait for Thanksgiving. I can't wait to go home, see my family, sleep in my own bed, have my own room (though I love my roomie here!), see the doggie, maybe have a fire, experience fall weather, eat home-cooked food, eat Kathy's food, eat Thanksgiving food (can you tell how excited I am about the food?), possibly see my uncle, go to Apple Hill, etc.
- Last night I went to Grace Community Church with some of my friends and the sermon was incredible. John MacArthur preaching Genesis 3? Yeah, that's going to be amazing. And it was. One thing that I learned that I'd never noticed: If you look at the order of the curse, you will see that God gives hope of salvation before ever telling Adam and Eve their consequences of the fall. God is so merciful! Ahh. What an amazing God!!
